Valodin ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our peptide tracking and record-keeping application.

The Short Version: Valodin stores your tracking records, progress photos, and optional Apple Health data locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts, upload your records, or have access to your personal health data.

1. Information Storage

Valodin stores the following types of information locally on your device only:

Peptide and vial information (names, concentrations, reconstitution dates)
Dose logs (timestamps, amounts, injection sites, notes)
Dosing schedules and reminders
Lab results, progress photos, and optional Apple Health metrics you choose to connect
App preferences and settings

This data is stored using Apple's Core Data framework and is protected by your device's built-in encryption when your device is locked.

2. Information We Do NOT Upload

Valodin does not:

Require account registration or login
Upload your vial records, dose logs, schedules, lab results, notes, progress photos, or Apple Health values to our servers
Sell your data or share your personal health data with third parties
Collect personally identifiable information
Write data back to Apple Health

3. Analytics

Valodin uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app usage and improve reliability. Analytics events are designed to avoid sensitive tracking details: we do not send peptide names, dose amounts, lab test types, injection sites, notes, progress photos, or Apple Health values in analytics events.

4. Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Valodin requests read-only access to selected metrics such as weight, sleep, heart rate, and heart rate variability. These values are used locally in the app to show trends alongside your tracking history. You can manage or revoke Health permissions in the iOS Settings app.

5. Camera and Progress Photos

If you choose to capture progress photos, Valodin uses the camera only to create local visual tracking records. Photos are stored on your device and are not uploaded by Valodin.

6. Local Notifications

If you enable notifications, Valodin uses Apple's local notification system to remind you of scheduled doses. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers.

7. Data Security

Your data is protected by:

iOS device encryption (data encrypted at rest when device is locked)
App sandboxing (other apps cannot access Valodin's data)
Local-first storage for your tracking records and health values

8. Your Control Over Your Data

You have complete control over your data:

Delete individual records: Remove vials, doses, schedules, lab results, or photos within the app
Delete all data: Uninstalling Valodin removes all stored data from your device
Health permissions: Manage Apple Health access in iOS Settings
Backup: Your data may be included in iCloud or iTunes backups if you have device backup enabled

9. Children's Privacy

Valodin is not intended for use by children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above.
